Prague, 27 August 2007
COMS, a. s. – the Marks & Spencer franchise holder for the Czech Republic has agreed an advertising contract with the Čech couple for this year. Martina and Petr Čech have delivered an attractive autumn campaign for the Marks & Spencer brand. The public will see the campaign during September and October in the external advertising in Prague, Brno and Carlsbad. It will also feature in selected life-style magazines and society weeklies.
The photography was performed by the leading Czech photographer Ondřej Pýcha, who worked with the help of Renata Zelinková (make up, hair) and the fashion stylist Tereza Kytková. Although it was difficult to find a free window in the Petr Čech’s busy schedule that would match availability of the Marks & Spencer autumn collection , in the end it took place on 6th August 2007 on England’s Dorset Coast.
Renata Fišerová, the brand’s manager, says: “We were delighted to work with the Cech couple as they are both well known, both here in Czech and throughout the world. It is also brilliant that thanks to the broad range of sizes offered by Marks & Spencer it was very easy to dress Petr with his 195 cm.”
David Trávníček, executive officer of company SPORT INVEST Marketing, which represents the Čechs: “The shoot with Ondra Pýcha was very demanding, but it was an inspiring experience. We are very satisfied with the outcome of the photographing for the Marks & Spencer autumn campaign and we hope it will appeal also to everyone.“
